What you'll do
- Booking and executing big events
- Maintaining vendor relationships
- Hold site inspection tours/visits on property for wedding and groups
- Selling: from making cost estimates, room, and f&B proposals to making contracts
- CS Manager for groups- planning to execution
- Event planning: detailing and planning out a complete group/wedding program
- Adding bookings/leads in CI/TY and responding.
- Detailing Resume & BEO’s for group & weddings
- Hold Beo Meetings on a weekly basis
- Site Inspection and pre planning visits for groups
- Handles all around events from weddings, groups, local, social events etc as well as groups with 10 or more rooms
- Handles all event interns from daily tasks, training, and delegation
- Keeping track of Catering & Banquet Forecast/Pace
- Making Catering Team Schedule
- Making an PM accounts to finalizing billing with clients.
- Direct responsibilities to all markets in terms of making revenue goals, catering quota, and maintaining relationships with VIP clients
- Overall responsibility for Resort sponsored events including design concept, arrangements and coordination, installation of decor, room set up, and entertainment.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all Departments.
- Prepare monthly banquet and catering report.
- Be literate with CITY
- Establish Catering/Banquet Revenue Goals for department
- Delegation within catering department /work hand in hand with ADOS/DOSM
- Keeping track of checkbook and finances and tracking upsell %
- P&L for banquet/catering
- Control and monitor group and events finances and maintain costs.
- Maintaining a review of sales and catering levels to maximize revenues and assist in reaching budgeted goals.
- Handling VIP treatments, including fine detailed arrangements, gifts and special amenities.
- Developing Departmental procedures and delegating responsibilities to employees of the Department.
- Assist catering/sales managers with booking groups, particularly in the area of joint calls, join site inspections and entertaining
- Developing a storehouse of information on current trends and innovations in the special events field.
- Help train catering managers in selling techniques and management philosophy and develop them.
- Analyze monthly banquet and catering report YOY
- CITY and analysis trends from reports
- Assist in coaching and counseling of all sales/catering staff.
- Assist in the attainment of all budgeted goals.
- Assist the ADOS/ DOSM in establishing group sales goals, forecasting group revenues, budgeting, and management of sales office.
- Attend industry and client related functions to keep current on industry trends and to maintain close client contact.
- Coordinate direct sales activities including road shows, blitz’s, group promotions, fams, etc.
- Assist the ADOS/ DOSM in the preparation of the annual marketing plan and budgets.
- Work on capex for banquet and catering
